Several weeks a go, a brand new version of the enterprise level content management system TYPO3 has been released. The current version has been numbered 6.2 and has a add-on "LTS", meaning long-term support. It is a version that is released every 2 years, with the commitment of 36 month support.
As TYPO3.org claims, new version should satisfy the needs of editors and backend users. In the near past, TYPO3 has been always perceived as the worlds best universal CMS platform, however, administrators were traditionally unhappy with the backed UI. In this new version, the backend design has been redefined and greatly improved. As we quote from TYPO3.org, "introducing a styleguide for backend rendering allows future extensions to better integrate with the product". In case you are interested in receiving more information on this TYPO3 version, you should contact a local specialist on TYPO3 implementation. In Slovakia, those include
MONOGRAM Technologies and BSP Magnetica. More about
TYPO3 projects in MONOGRAM can be found on their
website.
